FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Westmor Industries, a Morris, Minnesota-based manufacturer of petroleum and liquid-handling equipment, announced it has expanded its aviation refueler options to include a new, built-in hydraulic lift platform. The first platform will be designed into one of the company’s 10,000 gallon refuelers scheduled to be completed during the summer of 2009. It was purchased by the United States Army for use at their Fort Campbell, Kentucky base.
The lifts give operators better access during high, under-wing refueling applications. The operator and deck are able to rise 12.5 feet from the ground adding safety and stability during the connection and refueling process. Each lift is equipped with two deck hoses which, together, have the capacity to refuel at 800 gallons per minute.
Headquartered in Morris, Minnesota, Westmor Industries designs and manufactures a full line of petroleum and liquid-handling parts and equipment for a variety of industries including petroleum, propane, biofuels, government, transportation and agronomy.
