08/22/08: Westmor Industries Installs Iowa’s First Ethanol Blender Pump

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Along with Galva Holstein Ag, LLC, Morris, Minnesota-based Westmor Industries celebrates Iowa’s first ever ethanol blender pump.  The station started pumping August 14, 2008, after a successful installation.

Westmor Industries, a Morris, Minnesota-based manufacturer of petroleum and liquid-handling equipment, is the industry leader in ethanol blender pump installation.  According to the American Coalition for Ethanol, of the almost 80 pumps thought to be in existence throughout the country, WestMor installed more than 95% of them.

Ethanol blender pumps offer traditional ethanol blends, such as E10 and E85, as well as mid-level blends from E20 to E50.  The enhanced technology gives consumers more options to choose from, based on price and fuel efficiency.  Currently, all blend levels above E10 are only approved for flexible-fuel vehicles.

Headquartered in Morris, Minnesota, Westmor Industries designs and manufactures a full line of petroleum and liquid-handling parts and equipment for a variety of industries including petroleum, propane, biofuels, government, transportation and agronomy.
