The People
Cooperative Gas and Oil has been a valued customer of Westmor. More than refined fuel bulk plants, they own and operate Westmor brand bobtails, truck tanks and a propane bulk plant as well. General Manager Jim Harskamp says he continues to come back because of the people behind the scenes.

“Nobody is passing the buck at Wetsmor,” he said. “When we call in and need help with something, we always get an answer. Sometimes when someone  doesn’t know that the answer, they quickly find us someone who does!”

“That’s huge for us,” Harskamp said. “We’re 250 miles away from Westmor, so if we can get something done on the telephone that’s important.”

The Quality
“After visiting the Westmor factory I was able to see the manufacturing and quality control,” he said. “I know now how well the products are engineered, they’re built with good welds and quality paint!”

“I was impressed after my visit,” Harskamp said. “Even the shop people were available and accessible to me.”

The Knowledge
Closing in on 40 years in the business, Westmor has gained invaluable experience that can only come with time. We have the right people in the right places to provide our customers with the quality service they should expect.

“I recently had some work done on my bulk plant, upgrading it to a new compliance,” Harskamp said. “There again, as big as Westmor is and being in the business as long as they have been, we are secure that the work was done correctly and we won’t have to revisit the issue.”
