The trailer allows for bulk transport or metered deliveries providing the ultimate flexibility. The new design is modeled after Westmor’s Transtech Truck Tank line.

The MEC Versa-Fill bypass valve allows bobtail operators to deliver LP at high flow rates to residential and commercial accounts or dispense propane at low flow rates into cylinders or autogas vehicles.

Fully loaded at 80% capacity, the bobtail weighs under 52,000 pounds with 18,000 on the front axle and less than 34,000 on the tandem axle.

This lightweight, high-volume tank design is part of Westmor’s Blueline® QX Bobtail line that provides drivers the benefit of delivering more propane per load; extending their routes beore having to return to a bulk plant to load.

The deck design allows drivers to load more ergonomically, without the lifting of heavy hoses to shoulder height. Instead, the spray fill and vapor return are located at waist-height, approximately 20 inches lower than traditional fill heights.

Westmor Introduces V2 of their Mid-Delivery Blueline® BX Bobtail!

Morris, Minn. – Westmor Industries, LLC., one of North America’s most comprehensive energy storage, transportation and dispensing equipment manufacturers and suppliers, announces the newest version of their Mid-Delivery Blueline® BX Bobtail. The original design was unveiled at the 2019 Southeastern convention & International Propane Expo (NPGA Propane Expo). The upgraded model was scheduled to be released at the 2020 show but with show postponements and cancellations, it was delayed.

The V2 Mid-Delivery unit is the same design that allows the bobtail operator to deliver off either side of the bobtail from an inverted hose reel located directly behind the cab. A driver will be less fatigued when they take fewer steps and an ergonomic delivery experience.

Added benefits with this design include less backing which can help to prevent personal injury and property damage. It’s ideal for residential, in-city deliveries where it’s most convenient to have the ability to deliver propane off either side of the truck.
